Tortoise brooch with grandidierite and titanite in 925 Sterling silver

Brooch in the shape of a turtle made from rhodium-plated 925 Sterling silver.
The centre of the turtle's shell is set with a large oval, yellowish green sphene or titanite cabochon from Brazil measuring approx. 10 x 11 mm and is surrounded by six grandidierite cabochons from Sri Lanka, each measuring approx. 
8 x 10 mm grandidierite cabochons from Sri Lanka. The cabochons are natural and untreated. The rest of the top of the brooch has been pavé-set with white zirconia and yellow zirconia for the eyes. The piece of jewellery is approx. 44 mm long and approx. 26 cm wide, the weight of the brooch is approx. 14 grams.
